My driver side rearview mirror was brutally separated from my Nissan Altima, ehehe, and I needed to find a replacement fast. I sit here in Laval, Quebec/Canada, and found this A-Premium place I knew nothing about. And I'm trying to avoid buying anything from Amazon IYKWIM ;-) So I tried it. And the mirror came in 2 days through CanadaPost, of all carriers, wow, that was fast! Glad I gave this company a chance! Installing it was a breeze, there are plenty of videos on YouTube, you don't need to open the whole side door panel, just pry the corner open, you'll find the videos, it took me 5 minutes. You'll need a 10mm nut ratchet and something to pry open the door (don't use something metalic like a screwdriver, find something plastic, I used a piece of plastic, anything works). One cable to unplug in the door, and three nuts to remove. The mirror does heat (it's -7C today, I tested it, I threw snow on it and it melted) and the mirror-motor-positioning thing works too. There is a blinker on it, I have the Altima 2017 SV, not SL (my car's original rear view mirrors didn't have blinkers on them), I wasn't sure if the blinking light would work, but because my car didn't have that option, the blinker on the mirror doesn't work, as expected (I actually asked ChatGPT about it - I thought the mirrors didn't come with blinkers, but they do). And yes, it's fine to install a rearview mirror with a light even if your car doesn't support it, ask away to our good friend chatgpt, it's perfectly fine. I'll buy the right side mirror to match the left side mirror, just because I'm obsessive compulsive to make both rear view mirrors match. My car is black and the mirror's black color matched the Altima black perfectly. Merci A-Premium! You have a repeat customer.
