Quick shipping - my driver switch didn't worked
Product came in quickly and looked correct. I popped the old one out the new one in and the driver door "Auto" switch didn't work. I tried the "reset" procedure (turn key "on", press down and hold for 10 secs. Then lift, all the way, to close window for 10 secs) and I got back the auto up function but not the auto down. Pump was bad out of the box
2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty
This part was low quality from the get go. To start after removing the old one and installing this the screws that mount it to the frame strip out when you try to tighten it down, allowing them to free spin behind the bracket. Once installed and trying to prime the system, my in tank fuel pump wouldn't turn on. I then reinstalled my old one with trying to fix the cover leak which did not work, however my lift pump turned on with the old one installed. I needed my truck running so I removed the old one again and decided to retrofit the parts together. This also didn't go well because the bracket screws all snap off when you try to remove the mounting plate to put the old one on. The wire harness that comes with it also doesn't fit the 6.4 plug so I had to cut and spice the new one to the old connector. I then reinstalled the new one once I secured the old mounting plate with a metal hose clamp and the spliced wire whip and the pump still wouldn't let the lift pump turn on. After all of this I ended up pulling the pump out of my old water seperator and installing it in the new housing which fixed my issue. All in all I took like 4 diesel baths and had about 16 hours into fixing my problem all because of a low quality part. If I wasn't in need of my truck I would have promptly returned this product after it failed the first time. Do yourself a favor and buy Motorcraft or an aftermarket lift pump and filter system.
