I purchased this master switch to fix a few non-functional buttons on my 2009 Silverado 1500. Not only did it fail to solve the original issue, but the driver’s side window—which worked perfectly with my factory controller—would not function at all with this new unit. After swapping my old controller back in, the driver’s window worked immediately, confirming this replacement part was defective. Returning for a refund.

Defective out of the box

Window switch was correct fitting my truck, but the switches performed differently than OEM. I could not move the windows less than 4 to 6 inches with the switches, so unable to crack the windows an inch to release heat. 
Fortunately, I was able to use the circuit board from the OEM and the case and switches from the new one to make it work.

Product came in quickly and looked correct. I popped the old one out the new one in and the driver door "Auto" switch didn't work. I tried the "reset" procedure (turn key "on", press down and hold for 10 secs. Then lift, all the way, to close window for 10 secs) and I got back the auto up function but not the auto down.
