Fit great and worked well! Be advised that it’s very difficult to find a cover that has the sensor hole covered (if you don’t have a sensor). I was able to order the sensor cover off of Walmart for $6. The covers don’t say they fit a 2003 Beetle but they do.

Was sent in a timely manner. Came packaged with care except the gasket, it was placed on the back side of the pan so had a slight bend to it. 
Should be ok, but I would suggest whoever is packing stuff up to place the gasket on the flat part of the pan that goes to the motor so it stays straight. 

My only complaint. Besides that everything else was top notch.

The ad for this item clearly states there is a drain plug. I called customer service to verify that there was a drain plug because I cannot see it on the picture on the ad. Customer service inform me they contacted the engineering department and confirmed there was a drain plug. I received the transmission pan and there was no drain plug. It was good quality thick metal and all, but no drain plug. It also comes with a filter but is advertised with no filter.
