Bought the 4 piece kit for my 2012 KIA. They came with ZERO instructions or any designation which pair was for the hood or the rear hatch.  After eyeballing the OEM I I was able to sort that out. I watched an installation video on YouTube. The pair for the hood did not hold it up. The pair for the rear hatch did not fit, they were about an inch and a half too long. Extremely dissappointed and pissed.

Absolute Garbage!

Was intending to order the rear window ones ended up with the rear tailgate ones and instead of returning I decided to replace the tailgate ones as well and my goodness was there a night and a day difference. Opens my trunk significantly faster, maybe even too fast. Seems to slam my trunk open. Also, don't drop the little pins on worn asphalt at midnight. Don't ask me how I know...

Struts work well. Maybe too well...

When my 2005 Honda Pilot tailgate lift supports wore out, I called the local Honda dealer and they quoted me $425 for the 2 OEM lift supports uninstalled. I purchased 2 lift supports from A-Premium for $35 total including tax and delivery! I know Honda Parts are expensive but 12 times more expensive is ridiculous! The A-Premium lift supports fit perfectly and look to be good quality. I highly recommend using A-Premium for these lift support parts.
