The rear mud flaps went on with no issue. The front mud flaps required the removal of the tab since there was no place to attach it, and the inside edge, where the crash bar is, has no place to secure the flap. So far, with the modification, they are working.

Bought for a 2016 BMW X3, website "guaranteed" fit, I put the front flaps on without issue, went to the back and found the flaps wouldn't fit without significant modification.  Not happy but stuck because I don't want to remove the front flaps.
