How to replace the old power steering fluid reservoir with a new one?
Replacing a power steering tank involves turning off the engine, locating the tank in the engine compartment, wiping it clean, and disconnecting the hose or line that connects it to the power steering pump. The old tank must be carefully removed and replaced with the new tank in the same position as the old one. Any brackets or bolts that were removed earlier must be reattached. The hose or line must then be reconnected to the new tank and the tank must be refilled with the appropriate type of power steering fluid. After starting the engine, turn the steering wheel back and forth several times to work out any air bubbles, and then check the fluid level again.
